After seven years of travels in Europe, the Arctic, Russia and beyond we decided to sell our French registered motorhome. We had bought it using the Society Civile method, which has worked very well for us. The only occasion that the ‘KBIS’ was a ‘problem’ was at a minor border crossing between Armenia and Turkey, where the personnel were unfamiliar with this French system, but common sense prevailed. We advertised it for sale on this website at the beginning of our final trip, and within two days John had found a private buyer from another country, with whom we exchanged many calls, videos, photos, etc. We received a deposit and were able to travel for a final two months before handing the ‘camping-car’ over to the new owners. Both parties were happy with the arrangement and with the purchase price. John facilitated the transfer, and was very prompt with his sound help and advice at all stages. Having had some experience in this field, we would definitely recommend using John’s services to anyone from outside of France intending to purchase a motorhome there.
